Presentation at a Gas Demand Forecasting Seminar

Richard's presentation examined the impact that gas market liberalisation can have on the short, medium and long term forecasting of gas demand. Specific reference was made to the Hungarian Network Code which has been published recently. As well as considering the implications for demand forecasting, Richard's presentation covered the impacts of liberalisation on capacity planning and security of supply.

The conference was organised and delivered by Advantica Ltd and presentations were also given by them which covered the principles of demand forecasting from an analytical and operational perspective together with a practical demonstration of their own software product Forecaster, optimised for gas demand forecasting.
