Market Liberalisation in Turkey

TPA Solutions, as part of a consortium with Deloitte Turkey, Energy Markets Ltd and Advantica Ltd have been selected by the CFCU to support BOTAS (the Turkish national gas transmission system owner) on an EU funded project to develop various processes to enable further liberalisation of the gas market in Turkey. Areas for which TPA Solutions have key responsibility include:- review of the network code, development of standard transportation agreements, assessment of technical operability, technical assistance on network investment programmes and reports on cross-border trade and transit operations. This project is expected to start in September 2005 and involve key personnel from the company for up to a year.
