Chris Rinaldi

Prior to becoming a consultant, Chris spent over 27 years within the UK gas industry with experience that spans both gas and the telecommunication sector at all levels up to and including Director level, within the BG Group and formerly with Transco.

Chris has a track record in leading and managing multi-disciplined teams to deliver business results in complex and demanding environments and is highly experienced in business strategy and development. His capabilities include the formation of new businesses and departments, planning and deployment of networks, negotiation and regulatory management.

During the development of the competitive regime in the UK Chris had lead responsibility in a number of areas related to the development of the Network Code and was involved in a senior role in the negotiations with the Monopolies and Mergers Commission (MMC) as part of the Transco Price Control Review.

He also has extensive experience of contract development, negotiation and implementation and the development of policies related to the expansion of the national gas network.
